Seeds and CSA
Our seeds are here! We are going to have so much variety and diversity that even the most boring of eaters are going to be excited to try something new! The time has come for us to start propagating seeds in the green house. First we'll start our Alliums and Brassica crops and directly sow some greens into the high tunnel. Can't wait to post about that!
February 28 is National CSA sign up day, and we still have room to accept members! If you haven't found your local CSA, there are a lot of sites to help you search for your nearest CSA farm. Joining our CSA will help us to get a jump start on the growing season, as well as help pay our salary. We use all organic methods with sustainability in mind to bring families high quality, nutrient dense food free of chemicals. If you aren't sure becoming a CSA member is for you, just imagine vegetables picked the morning you get them selected just for you. Members end up with about $30-$40 worth of produce per week at a cost of only $25 per week!
So sign up for a CSA program near you. Support local farming and a healthy diet.
