Let's do it!
Many thanks to you all for your support the past couple of years. We are grateful to have such a loyal community around our farmers markets and CSA program, many of you are like family. We want to wish you all a happy new year, and health and happiness for your families. Around this time we like to take some time and look back at what we’ve accomplished over the past season and look forward to what we can achieve in this new year.
One thing we find to be super important is to be totally transparent about how we grow your food. Here is a bunch of pictures from this past year, if you have social media Sammy posts way more pictures than I put on here. (You can tell which pictures are hers). If you ever have questions about how, why, when, or what we grow feel free to ask. Any questions you might have about your garden, please reach out. Thanks again for the support!

We added 15 more 100 foot rows
We use A LOT of row cover to help protect the plants from cold and pests. For 2021 we have invested in insect netting for pest heavy crops when the summer is too hot for row cover.
We start some seedlings in our apartment under lights before the greenhouses are warm enough to hold heat through the cold nights.
Every week we take a look at what is available and how much we can stock on the online store after CSA is accounted for.
It was a game changer having such a nice walk in cooler to keep the produce fresh and even bag green in the hot summer so they don’t wilt.
Second Game changer was the cargo van, just in time for a bunch of pre-orders.
This is one of the many reasons we don’t spray, and we till as little as possible. Gray Tree Frog
We have even more tomato varieties for 2021!
Is this where green thumb comes from?
Third game changer, Two 100 foot caterpillar tunnels!
Carrots are overwintering for Spring!
We ordered all of our seeds in December to be sure to get our stock before the demand was high and to secure our favorites that sell out quickly. We have already started spreading compost, and have seeds under lights waiting for temperatures in the greenhouse to stabilize.
Thanks for sticking around!
