What a Rush!

Wow! I can't believe it's June! Time is flying, the produce is growing fast, and we're busier than the bees keeping up with the seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting, selling, and educating about how and why we work so hard!

We've got tons of greens! Spinach, Arugula, Lettuce, Swiss Chard, Siberian Kale, Red Russian Kale, Toscano Kale, Collards, Braising Mix, and Mustard! Green house tomatoes and Cherry tomatoes are flowering and fruiting! Peas are just about full enough for the You-Pick garden. We've got Radishes, and Turnips, with Beets and Carrots just around the corner. The Cucumbers and Squash in Field 2 are growing fast under their protective cover. Peppers and Eggplant are set for planting, followed by more Tomatoes and a second succession of Cucumbers and Squash.

If you want a taste of this bounty, come check us out at the Anselma Farmer's Market off of 401 (East of 100 West of 113) in Chester Springs, ten minutes from the farm, on Wednesdays 3-7. You can also head into downtown West Chester to get some of our produce done up by the pros at Roots Cafe on Gay Street. You can even call, email, or come to the farm and we'll pick fresh just for you! Here's a look at how fast things are growing!
